COVID-19 Response
In this time of evolving public health situations, NFBS will be making significant modifications to its operations:

Continuity of psychotherapy services will be maintained, including individual and group therapy for adults. Children's Social Skills Groups and the Mental Well-being Workshops are suspended until further notice. Remote psychotherapy sessions are being considered to provide optimal safety for our staff and clients.

THE SHOP AT NFSB TEMPORARY CLOSURE

The Shop at NFSB has suspended operations until at least March 23rd, 2020. Currently, we are not accepting donations.

This action will allow us to reallocate our volunteer resources to meet the immediate needs of the community and focus on necessary food distribution.

NFSB FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTION
Food Pantry
The NFSB Food Pantry will continue grocery distribution according to the regularly scheduled dates. In accordance with guidance from state and local Departments of Health to minimize contained crowding, open air food distribution will take place outside the NFSB Annex at 169 Chestnut Street.

Donations are gratefully accepted in the marked bins on the porch at the rear of the NFSB Annex at 169 Chestnut Street. Additionally, grocery gift cards for the purchase of staples are always welcome.

If you or your family find yourselves in need of emergency support (especially at-risk populations including, vulnerable seniors and those with disabilities and underlying medical conditions) please contact the NFSB Main Office at 973-667-1884. 

NFSB HELPING NUTLEY SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVE FOOD
School Meals For Students
Nutley Family Service Bureau is partnering with the Nutley School District to ensure the continuity of meals for students during school closure. For students who typically receive free or reduced lunch at school, an open-air distribution of grab-and-go meals will be provided by Pomptonian Food Service and distributed from the Nutley Family Service Bureau Annex located at 169 Chestnut Street, Nutley. Specifics will be provided by the Nutley School District.

NFSB TO POSTPONE SCOUTING FOR FOOD DRIVE
Scouting For Food Drive
The Scouting for Food Drive scheduled for March 21st has been postponed. Eileen Painter, Executive Director of NFSB, stated, "We are making every effort to maintain health and prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, according to recommendations from state and local Departments of Health. Therefore, the decision was made to postpone the 2020 Scouting for Food Drive. The Scout leadership teams and our community partners understand our responsible decision in taking this action."

NUTLEY FAMILY SERVICE BUREAU'S A NIGHT AT THE RACES RESCHEDULED
A Night At The Races
In an abundance of caution, and in compliance with guidance from state and local Departments of Health, Nutley Family Service Bureau announces rescheduling of our popular fundraiser, A Night at the Races . The event will now take place on October 24th at Starlight Dance Center, including all the fabulous races, food, beverages, and fun. Details to follow for those who have already purchased tickets and sponsorships.
