Episode 3, March 26, 2020
Hi everyone,

OK, we're on a roll here. A paddle & roll. And once again THANK YOU to everyone who has made a donation. It is helping us so we can keep in place a simple structure until we can reopen. It REALLY means a lot to us!

So, once again welcome to Tony's Tap TV. Episode 3. Today we have another exercise for my basic and absolute beginners, another Tap Dance Hall of Fame tribute and yet another surprise that I think you will enjoy. Plus as requested, I'm sending a play list of songs I use for my classes on Thursday.

By the way, if you're new to all this, watch this opening video.
Today, we pay tribute to our for fathers The Copasetics. This is the opening film I created when we did a Salute to the Copasetics in 2011 at Tap City, the New York City Tap Festival. It's a montage made from Great Feats of Feet, the historic documentary produced and directed by Brenda Bufalino, plus clips from the Dick Cavett Show as well as some footage that Hank Smith was kind enough to donate.

So watch this tribute to 2016 International Tap Dance Hall of Fame Recipients: The Copasetics.

Now, for those of you who want a quick refresh on TOE HEELS & HEEL TOES (especially my Absolute Beginner and Basic Students), check out this video below. You might want to wear sneakers for the sake of your neighbors. Enjoy!
Yes...this is me. I auditioned for this commercial in New York and got it. They said I looked like a typical French car salesman! So I flew to Paris for a few days. It just about killed me.
Here is the requested Play list from one of my new students Kristin: Tony's Playlist

Let me know if this link works!

In case you're just joining us, this project was created as a pay what you can, and we will consider it a donation. The ATDF appreciates any gift large or small, especially now.

Meanwhile, I will be posting as much content as I can (it's looking like 3 times a week) and we will continue to hold down the fort as we look forward to reopening the American Tap Dance Center as soon as possible.

Keep safe, keep well & in the spirit of tap dance......keep time!
