Guide to Emergency Loans - US Chamber
The U.S. Chamber has created a new Guide to Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Loans to provide businesses the latest information on emergency loan changes contained in the federal relief package the recently passed.

Terms for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) Program have been adjusted.

The guide answers questions about taxes and eligibility.
U.S. Chamber CEO Commends Passage of Pandemic Package
As you know, Congress passed a $900 billion pandemic relief package to deliver critical resources to American families and businesses adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In response to the passage of this legislation, U.S. Chamber CEO Tom Donohue released the following statement.

“The Chamber applauds a truly bipartisan compromise that finally puts the American people and businesses ahead of partisan squabbling. We commend the Congressional leadership and the bipartisan senators and representatives whose actions led to this achievement. Together, they have illustrated how we can break partisan gridlock in the new Congress next year. [This] package includes aid for small businesses and nonprofits, extension of unemployment programs, funding for schools and day care centers, and resources to support vaccinations before the end of the year. It will help small businesses and Americans contend with the devastating economic impact of the pandemic, which, of course, has tragically taken more than 300,000 Americans this year."
New U.S. Chamber COVID-19 Vaccines FAQ

As you know, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently granted emergency use authorization for COVID-19 vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna. As states begin to prioritize, allocate, and distribute the first doses, the U.S. Chamber has created a new COVID-19 Vaccine FAQ one-pager to answer the common questions being asked by Americans - and especially business leaders.

Click here to view the one-pager with accurate and current information about the vaccine allocation process, expected timelines, and what it all means for the road to recovery. The U.S. Chamber will continue to update this resource as new information becomes available.
As part of an end-of-year pandemic relief package, Congress has passed several changes to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and created a “Second Draw” PPP for small businesses who have exhausted their initial loan. Other changes impact eligibility for initial PPP loans, the loan forgiveness process, and the tax treatment of PPP loans.

Congress has also made changes to other programs – including Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL Program), the Employee Retention Tax Credit, a Venue Grant program, and SBA loan programs –that will benefit small businesses. Here’s everything small business owners need to know now:
