Student Services and Resources
Bengals,

With less than a week until the start of classes, Idaho State University is working to ensure the safest possible learning experience for you. A number of resources and services are available to support your education journey.
YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE
Over the summer, the University reviewed all classroom arrangements to ensure spaces are able to adequately provide physical distancing. This means that your classes may have moved to a new classroom or building. Also, some classes have transitioned to a HyFlex (combining face-to-face and online instruction) or a completely distance-based model. You can find a description of the different types of instruction online

Some of this reorganizing is still going on, so please check your class schedule in BengalWeb prior to the first day of class. If you have any questions or concerns about your schedule, don’t hesitate to reach out to our academic advisors by phone at (208) 282-3277 or schedule an online appointment with an advisor.
EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 AND ATTENDANCE POLICIES
We’re asking students who are sick or who have been exposed to COVID-19 to stay home from in-person class meetings and on-campus activities. Attendance policies will not penalize students for being absent if they need to self-isolate. Students will still be able to follow the course content through class recordings and distance-based options. Please communicate directly with your instructor if you need to be absent from class.
CARES ACT FUNDING
Students who are eligible for CARES Act funding will receive disbursement on Tuesday, September 15. Eligibility includes being enrolled in the Spring 2020 semester and filing a FAFSA for 2020-2021. For more information and award amounts, please visit Idaho State’s CARES Act website.
COUNSELING SERVICES
The Counseling and Testing Center will use telehealth for student counseling appointments. All enrolled students are eligible for free, confidential counseling. We encourage everyone to visit the Counseling and Testing Center's website to learn more about managing anxiety and stress during the COVID-19 pandemic.
