We heard from The Hon. John Horgan, Premier of B.C., Hon. Ravi Kahlon, Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery & Innovation, Dr. Reka Gustafson, Kory Wilson and notable scientific and business innovators such as Dr. Carl Hansen, Dr. Simon Pimstone, Scott Phillips, Dr. David Parkinson, Dr. Stephen Yip, Dr. Ali Tehrani, and Dr. James Taylor and sector leaders such as Gordon McCauley, Nancy Harrison, Pascal Spothelfer, Greg D’Avignon, Mary Ackenhusen, Mike Martin, Helen Sheridan and Dr. Fiona Dalton to name just a few of our esteemed speakers and participants. If we were left with one final thought coming out of the conference it is Optimism.
The BC Life Sciences sector is playing a critical role in both driving the economic recovery and competitiveness of B.C., while developing our innovative products, solution and services are leading COVID-19 responses and addressing many of the complex issues of our health system.
