Dear Parents,
This week in high school Chapel, we began a multi-week series on dealing with shame. After spending the month of January on wise decision making, we wanted to offer our students a biblical framework for dealing with those moments when they haven’t made the right decision.
Shame from sin and mistakes is something that particularly plagues this generation of teenagers. My hope in these weeks ahead is our students will come to realize Jesus never ignores our sin, but through his grace, we aren’t defined by it any longer and He offers us new life free from our sin!
