Sustainability Initiatives
We've been focused upon sustainability since the company started,
and are continually finding ways to do more
As part of our
B

we

-
Signed up for the
Climate Collaborative program
We continue our robust general practices, but are excited about putting a more formal bench-marking program in place.
Look for more about our involvement with the
Climate Collaborative,
a group of manufacturers, retailers, distributors, brokers, suppliers and other concerned businesses from the natural foods industry working together to take bold action to reverse climate change. We've made commitments to reduce our impact
in
agriculture and packaging.
Recycling
can be a challenge
Municipal recycling programs limit what they accept.
Incorporating TerraCycle, we now recycle hairnets, tape dispensers, plastic film, pens, electronics, plastic packing straps, white Styrofoam, and many other things that would otherwise be landfilled.

This year, we chose to exhibit at some regional trade shows such as
SOHO EXPO rather than at the somewhat overwhelming Expo West. But we are sponsoring the Herb Walk and we will be attending many events and visiting with friends and colleagues.
March 4
Expo West Herb Walk
We're once again sponsoring the
AHPA-ABC-AHP Herb Walk. Join
renowned herbalists on March 4th
to lead participants through the Fullerton Arboretum's 26-acre botanical garden.
- Hop on the bus and join a faculty of renowned herbalists.
- Learn about culinary & medicinal herbs and their traditional uses from the arboretum's permanent collection of more than 4,000 plant species from around the world.
