In an Order released this past week, the South Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice imposed new restrictions on courthouse activity that will include eviction hearings. The new restrictions, which apply to all of the state's Magistrates, come in response to the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the state and are meant to both combat the spread of the virus, as well as to provide respite for low-income renters and those facing evictions during the crisis.

Today Chris Loebsack and Will Brownlee shared South Carolina eviction updates via webinar. If you were unable to attend the webinar, please click here to view it.
