In the upcoming issue of our school magazine, The Mighty Pen, we will be featuring alumni-owned restaurants throughout Ohio. To be included, please email Alumni Director Sarah Evans at sevans@desales.co with the following information by Friday, July 22: Name, Class Year, Name of Restaurant, Photo of You (at the restaurant if possible), Restaurant’s Logo, Type of Cuisine, answer to “What was your favorite lunch meal when you were at DeSales?”
Class Notes
Alumna Lydia Burke '14 recently earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ohio University, and has accepted a position as a Physical Therapist at Ohio Health Doctors Hospital.
Last month alumnus Luke Barber '17 was recognized for receiving CoSIDA First Team Academic All America Honors. Luke has earned this honor three times during his five years at Otterbein University. Last Spring, Luke received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working towards his Masters in Business Administration. In his final season of baseball, Luke also set the all time hit record at Otterbein, with 246 hits. 
Alumna Lexi Campbell '14 was recognized by the “Columbus Young Professionals Club” as one of the “Next Up Columbus” honorees. This award is given to individuals who are making a positive impact in the future of Columbus.

Class of 1967 Reunion
When: August 19 from 6pm to 10pm
Where: Old Bag of Nails (24 N. State St Westerville, OH 43082)

Class of 1992 Reunion
When: August 20 beginning at 6pm
Where: Marshall’s (105 West First Ave. Grandview, OH 43212)

Class of 2002 Reunion
When: August 20 from 6pm - 9pm
Where: Nocterra Brewing Company (41 Depot St. Powell, OH 43065)

Class of 1987 Reunion 
When: September 24; time: TBD

2017 Reunion Recap

The Class of 2017 celebrated their 5 year reunion on Saturday, June 18 at Harry Buffalo. Thank you to Jennifer Durbin and Kara Haywood for putting together a great night! The Class of 2017 looks forward to seeing everyone in 2027 at their 10 year reunion!

Spiritual Reflection

“Follow me.” Lord, you spoke two simple words and they changed Matthew’s life forever. You speak those same words to each one of us “Follow me” and our response changes our lives forever. Thank you for inviting us to follow you. Help us to know our need for your mercy which you give to us freely and without reservation. We pray this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
