Traffic Reminders
Waiting For Pick-Up
  • A reminder that if you have wait for pick-up before 3:15 or 1:15 during early release, please do so at the First Chinese Baptist Church a half mile north of our campus on Prue Rd. Anyone parked and waiting on the side of Prue Rd. will risk being ticketed by SAPD.
No U-Turns
  • If you are traveling north on Research Dr. from Huebner Rd, please do not execute a U-Turn just past the concrete dividers in front our our campus. Aside from putting other drivers in danger and being illegal, SAPD has taken notice and will begin ticketing drivers who do so.

For more traffic info, visit our Traffic Info webpage at the link below. Thank you for your assistance in making our pick-up experience as safe and painless as possible.

Nurse's Corner
Parents, we know you have a lot of things to do every morning to get your scholar prepared for the school day.

Something very important is to help them remember to bring a filled water bottle to school every day.

Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, help prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.

FROM YOUR PSO
Snowflake Fund
We have a really special and encouraging volunteer opportunity! The Snowflake Fund is an annual campaign led directly by parents, not the PSO or school, to raise money to provide a wonderful holiday cash gift to our teachers and support staff, in lieu of holiday gifts! Last year each parents raised enough money to provide each faculty member $330!

It lasts for a month, which makes it a short-term, fun way to show our Great Hearts to our teachers. Our first meeting is Monday, October 4, after morning dropoff. Email Lindsay Meagher at the email below for more information. We’d love to have you on the team!”

Service Saturday
Our 1st Service Saturday at the Mission San Juan Community Farm (SA Food Bank) from 8:30am-11am. ALL ages are invited to help with gardening! This is an outdoor activity. Please be prepared with closed toe shoes, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Masks are required if indoors. Each family participant must register individually, no matter the age. Registration will close at 100 participants. Currently we only have 37 registered. Help us make our first Service Saturday a success as we look forward to giving back to our community as we practice the virtues of citizenship, humility and friendship. 9101 Graf Road, San Antonio, 78214.
