Dear Families, Many blessings are wished for you and your loved ones in this holy Easter season. May the resurrection of our Lord be a constant reminder of His promise of eternal life, His faithful love for each of us and a source of strength and hope for all!
We sure miss all our REP families, and so we hold you close in prayer while we are apart. Please keep in your prayers all the members of our St. Veronica community, especially those who are ill or caring for those who are ill at this time, the unemployed, the elderly, those who are alone, and all those who are working to keep us safe, healthy and supplied with all we need.
While we are together at home, let's be kind to one another, and for those times when kindness is difficult, be forgiving-the surest sign of love. All the home-schooling that's going on, along with working from home, or NOT working is surely causing some stress to families everywhere. On those days when its needed, and if it's possible, declare a "family holiday", enjoy NOT working, and just be together.
If your family, or someone you know is in need of assistance with getting food, medicine, other supplies or needs anything else at this time, PLEASE reach out to St. Veronica. We're your community, and we are here to help. You should have gotten a phone call from a parish staff member in the past couple weeks. If you didn't, please let us know...we may have incorrect contact details. Contact the REP office at (513)688-3155, or the Parish Ministry Center at (513) 528-1622.
Go here to hear Father Del's Easter message, and see some other phone numbers if you have special concerns at this time.
Remember that Easter is not a day, but a
WHOLE SEASON!! It lasts until May 31st this year, the day of Pentecost. This Sunday, we hear about "doubting Thomas", who's faith was strengthened when he SAW Jesus. Read or tell the story (John 20:19-31) and have everyone tell what has strengthened their faith in the past or is strengthening their faith right now
