Share Your Feedback about DPS and Leaders by Completing CollaboRATE Survey by Friday
Dear Educators,

CollaboRATE, DPS' all-employee engagement survey, is now live! This is your opportunity to share your voice about DPS as a whole, as well as give feedback about your principal, assistant principal, dean and, if applicable, Senior/Team Leads. All information shared is confidential and will be used to drive improvements.

You should have received an email from K12 Insight with the survey link. Please take some time between now and Jan. 17 to complete the survey -- it should only take about 15 to 20 minutes. Bonus: Teams with high participation will be entered into a drawing for a prize based on team size.

For more information, including general FAQs and information on the self-identification questions, please visit thecommons.dpsk12.org/collaborate . Thank you for your support in reaching 100% participation at your school!

Many thanks,
Tamara and Mike

New On Track to Graduate Tool Available for Teachers
The On Track to Graduate (OTG) tool is live in Teacher Portal! This tool allows teachers to progress-monitor students’ OTG status based on new 2021 graduation requirements, and includes student summary information, overall on-track status, credit status, ICAP status and competency status. By understanding students’ OTG status, especially their competency status, teachers can better support students in meeting the 2021 graduation requirements. To best understand the tool, please review this short slideshow .

Once the parent-friendly OTG summary report is released, all staff will need to understand the OTG tool and the new 2021 graduation requirements.

Need help? Reach out to your school’s leadership team or regional network team partners, who are trained on the OTG tool and can provide further guidance around expectations.
Math and Literacy Capstone Tabs are Live
The Math and Literacy Capstone tabs are now live in Infinite Campus. Here is what you need to know:
  • Use the Mathematics Capstone Infinite Campus Guide and Literacy Capstone Infinite Campus Guide to learn how to use the new tabs.
  • Legacy data (competency scores entered into the old IC tabs) were honored and mapped to the correct performance indicators (math) and competency scores (literacy) in the new IC capstone tabs.
  • Scores are flowing from Illuminate and into Infinite Campus on a nightly basis. If legacy scores exist for a tested Illuminate item, the computers are able to compare both scores and take the highest score.

Please continue to consult the  Literacy Capstone  and  Mathematics Capstone  Implementation Guides for all your capstone needs.
