Chamber Connection
May 2022
Dear Chamber,
This is what I have learned about our community: we always pull through, no matter what challenges come our way! Happy Pride Month Eve!

Thanks to a group of committed volunteers, we will be enjoying Pop-Up Pride on the Boston Common, Sunday, June 12 from 11 AM–5 PM! This group has been working tirelessly for the past two months to secure permits, find tents, sign up performers, and many other things to make sure we have a premier Pride event. Our Chamber has been supporting Pop-Up Pride with infrastructure (e.g. leveraging our insurance policy to obtain an event policy, raising funds from other non-profit organizations, providing our credit card to secure rentals, etc.) as well as being there as extra sets of hands for the huge amounts of tasks necessary to pull off an event like this! Our Chamber is committed to our entire community and we seek to support any efforts that bring us closer to equity and inclusion, and celebrate our diversity.

The month of June brings great visibility to our community and while we celebrate with pride, the Chamber is still hard at work adding members and supporting their businesses to thrive, working with our corporate partners to ensure truly inclusive workplaces for our community, and so much more. Read on and learn all about it! Happy Pride!

Proudly,

Grace R. Moreno
Executive Director
