From the Pastor
We closed out and celebrated DNOW 2021 in the 11:00am service this past Sunday. The DNOW worship service band, J & K (Jordyn and Kevin Boyer), led in both services, and Austin brought the message. Austin reported 107 students participated in the DNOW weekend. Sunday we had 14 professions of faith and 8 rededications! I praise God for all He is doing among our students. Last Wednesday evening we had 84 students worshipping in a youth room that can normally hold up to 60 comfortably. Finding an alternate location for our youth to meet on Wednesday nights is a good problem to have! But, we will begin to work on a solution. I want to thank everyone who was involved in making this DNOW so successful. I especially want to thank Austin for all of his hard work, planning, and organization. We are so blessed God brought him, Chloe, and Ella Grace to us!

“Dwight Lyman Moody [1837-1899] was perhaps the most remarkable Christian layman America ever produced. Yes, I said “layman” because D.L. Moody was never ordained, nor did he ever have any formal training for the ministry. He preferred to be called “Mr. Moody,” and he readily admitted his educational limitations…Dr. A.T. Pierson estimated conservatively that Moody brought the gospel to 100 million people during his lifetime – without radio, television or even a public address system…How could this relatively unlearned shoe salesman become such a forceful effective evangelist and teacher? Moody’s success lay in his tremendous burden for the lost and a willingness to do whatever God asked of Him.” (Living with the Giants, Warren W. Wiersbe)

What is your burden? What is God asking of you?

We had an incredible D-Now weekend. We had 15 students come to know Jesus! God is moving in our students and I promise that you don't want your student to miss out on what God is doing in our ministry.

Tonight, we have the El Mariachi fundraiser for summer camp from 5-9. All you have to do is show up, eat, and mention RPBC Student Ministries and a percentage of the profits will go to our students and specifically for summer camp.

This Wednesday, we will have summer camp sign up sheet. We will be going to Fuge in Tigerville, South Carolina at North Greenville University. The total cost for camp is $330 per student. We will have two deposits due to help spread out the payments. The first will be a $60 deposit by February 24, a second $100 payment by May 5th, and the final balance will be due June 16th.

Lastly, we will be having fundraisers, like the one tonight, to help bring that total cost down. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 334-830-5592. We want your student to have every opportunity to go to camp and experience God like never before!

And... I will be issuing a small challenge to our students tomorrow night and we will have the D-Now highlight video, so do not let them miss!

Austin
