Northbrook Park District facilities and parks are closed and programs are canceled from March 14 through March 30. The District will re-evaluate the closure prior to March 30.

At this time, all buildings are closed and all park facilities including restrooms, the dog park, the skate park, and fenced amenities such as tennis courts are locked and closed to the public.

Recommendations from the CDC and IDPH encourage social distancing and the avoidance of crowds. We highly encourage these practices in the parks.

All programs are canceled. All program registrants, members, rentals, and ticket holders will be contacted directly by programming staff with more specific information regarding make-up classes, postponements, credits and applicable refunds. Visit nbparks.org/covid-19 for additional information.

Phones will be answered at the following facilities from 9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday:
  • Administrative Offices: 847-291-2960
  • Leisure Center: 847-291-2995
  • Sports Center: 847-291-2993
  • Village Green Center: 847-291-2980
The District is closed as a public health precaution, as a member of the Glenview-Northbrook Coronavirus Task Force, in response to the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to avoid crowds in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
