Shopping from a Distance
Introducing Curbside Pickup
These are challenging times but together we will get through this! There are so many stories to tell about what we are experiencing and living through. It is heart warming to see our community pulling together to support each other. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude for those on the frontline; doctors, nurses, first responders and everyone who is keeping us safe.

We understand that with the warm spring days ahead, there will be more time spent in the garden while we practice our social distancing. As you can see from the bulbs emerging, trees budding and the birds singing, spring is definitely not cancelled!

Although Dufferin Garden Centre is currently closed to the public, we invite you to visit our website, and enjoy the sights of spring! We have pansies, primula and hellebores in the greenhouse, seeds, soil and pots to get your garden going and don’t forget grass seed for your lawn.

We appreciate your patience! We are working with only a few staff members and they will be available to take spring orders Tuesday to Saturday; 10:00am – 4:00pm.

How it Works:
  • call us at 519-941-5081 from Tuesday – Saturday between 10:00am – 4:00pm
  • or email grow@dufferingarden.ca including your name, phone number and details
  • we are happy to take your orders and once we’ve confirmed everything, we will process payment over the phone (either by Visa or Mastercard) and then your order will be ready to pick up at the store
  • please DO NOT email us your payment information, we will contact you by phone to confirm your order and your credit card information will be given in person over the phone
  • when you order is confirmed, a staff member will arrange a pick up time that is convenient
  • we offer no-contact curbside pick up at the store (local delivery coming soon) at 250 C Line, Orangeville, ON
  • once you arrive at Dufferin Garden Centre, please call the store (519-941-5081), give a description of your vehicle, the last 4 digits of your phone number and please open your trunk
  • a staff member will bring out your order and load it while you remain in the car
  • when your order is safely loaded, we will let you close the trunk to minimize any unnecessary contact
  • all orders are final sales – no exchanges or returns at this time

Thanks for your patience as we navigate through this unprecedented spring season. As always, we are here to answer your questions… please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and products (and lots pictures of spring flowers!!)
Early Spring in the Garden
Dormant Oil Spray helps to kill
over-wintering insect eggs and fungal spores on roses, deciduous trees and shrubs, and fruit trees.

Starting Seeds from the Soil Up
Starting annual flowers or vegetables from seed can be very rewarding. The reward will be vigorous plants flowering earlier and an earlier harvest of vegetables than those started directly outside .
