John Street Bridge Outreach – Week #2
Whether you’re a first-timer or a “seasoned-pro” (after dropping off lunches on April 18!) thank you and WELCOME one and all to our John Street Bridge Outreach!
We’re working with April Barron’s “Helping Hands”. April has been coordinating food for the homeless under the John Street Bridge for over a decade. That’s April picking up lunches on April 18.
"Love is the Spirit of this Church and Service its Law" is our heartfelt commitment of solidarity with those deeply affected by hunger, unemployment, and homelessness, all made worse by COVID-19.
Want to pitch in? Then
for instructions on how to prepare lunches and drop them off by Saturday May 2 at 5 PM. It’s as easy as 1… 2… 3

MONICA GARRISON RECEIVES THE LEADING LIGHT AWARD FOR MAY
|
|
Please join the Leadership Development Team in congratulating
Monica Garrison,
recipient of the May Leading Light Award. Among the many significant gifts of Monica’s time and talent are her service as a member and then chair of the Nominating Committee. In addition, Monica has significantly contributed to our religious education/faith formation programs, has overseen the Sunday soup sales for the past two years and has devoted countless hours to managing the dessert table for Voice Café. Mostly recently Monica joined our new Food Ministry.
Given the challenging times through which we are all living, Monica’s spirit of service is particularly uplifting. For all of her involvement in, and commitment, to TUCW, Monica truly is a Leading Light.
