EUMC MISSIONS Update - December 31, 2020

LOVELAND CARE CENTER
I wanted to end this year on a high note for missions. One thing that has emerged during this pandemic is the Loveland Care Center. We have been supporters and contributors to the development of this idea with Northstar Church over the years. Recently, I started a series of videos entitled "Living Through the Pandemic". In this episode below, I talk with our very own Judy Hominy and Greg Knake who is one of the leaders of the Loveland Care Center. As you watch this video consider how God may be leading you to volunteer, contribute and pray for this very important ministry within our own community. Enjoy.

MISSIONS 2021
HEY EPIPHANY! As we begin to prepare ourselves for the beginning of a new year, I wanted to connect with you about our missions. As we look to 2021, I wanted to share this list below which highlights our missions and the leaders associated with each one. I would like to draw your attention to a few things: 1) Please let me know if you are good to lead your mission for the 2021 year. If you need to take a break or step down please let me know. If you could help me recruit someone to replace you I would welcome your help. 2) If you see a mission/mission leader who is shaded in grey it is because they are stepping down from that specific mission for 2021. I invite everyone to consider looking over the mission opportunities that need leaders and consider making a commitment for the 2021 year. If you have any questions feel free to contact the current mission leader or myself. If we are unable to fill a leadership role for a particular ministry we may close the chapter on that mission and invest in the other missions we have going on.
3) If there is a mission that is not on our list, and you are passionate about it and you are willing to help lead it, please let me know and we can explore the next steps.
4) And finally, the phrase "Missions Is Our Thing" has been our missions graphic for quite a few years now. I think it is time to ask all of our graphic artists if there is a new theme we can come up with for missions as we get ready to kick off 2021! So send me what you have and we will consider the submissions we receive.
All of you have done amazing in your contributions and commitments for the holiday season even in the midst of a pandemic. Thank you for helping to keep the missions of the church going through this difficult time.
