"Party with a Purpose" was a success!
The first annual Party with a Purpose, held on April 17, 2021, raised $42,000 to help fund one of the first homes in the Habitat Village!

Thank you to the Greater Denton/Wise County Association of Realtors for hosting the event, and to the many local event sponsors, including AccessBank Texas, City of Denton, Ruth's Room, Point Bank, DATCU, and First United Bank & Trust. We can't wait for next year!

On April 27, at their second quarter meeting, we won the support of the 100 Dentonites Who Give A Damn! Their generous gift of $10,000 will go toward the infrastructure of our Habitat Village. We are so blessed to have this support from our community as we move forward with the Habitat Village!
Our 104th Build is ahead of schedule! THANK YOU Volunteers, Sponsors, and Community Partners!
Thanks to our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, we are well on our way to completing our 104th home. The roof has been installed, the siding is completed, and exterior painting is set to begin soon. Volunteering on Saturday, May 1 has been canceled due to poor weather conditions for exterior painting.
Noe and Violeta, our 104th Partner Family, have been working so diligently on the home that they have completed most of their required "sweat equity" hours. Last Saturday, they got to test the paint color they picked out for their home. It is a blessing to get to work alongside them and experience their joy and excitement for this home!
Service Spotlight: Touchstone Roofing LLC
Huge thank you to Touchstone Roofing LLC for donating the roof for our 104th home! The team at Touchstone came out the week of April 19 to help our volunteers install the GAF Lifetime Roofing system. We are blessed to have community partners who believe in a world where everyone has a decent place to live!

The Pre-Application process will be open from April 20 to May 21, 2021. If you or someone you know is in need of shelter, has the ability to pay, and is willing to partner with Habitat, please spread the word!

  1. Review the Habitat for Humanity Qualifications and Guidelines here to see if you and your family qualify for the program.
  2. Download, print, and complete the Mortgage Counseling Questionnaire here, or pick one up and fill it out in person at our ReStore at 1805 Cornell Lane in Denton. 
  3. Return the Mortgage Counseling Questionnaire, along with the non-refundable processing fee of $25 in the form of a money order, by May 21, 2021. Return by email to NancyRod@hfhdentoncounty.org; by mail to PO Box 425 Denton, TX 76202; or in person to Habitat Denton County (ReStore location) at 1805 Cornell Lane in Denton.
