SPRING GALA
  
MARCH 26TH | 6:30-11 PM | EAGLE OAKS
Only a few days left to get your RSVPs in!!  Seating requests cannot be guaranteed after March 16th and there will be NO dinner tickets sold on the event day.  Don't miss out on a fabulous ladies' night out!    Gather your friends and sit together at a table while you enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing, drinks, and raffles!

1ST GRADE FUN & FIT NIGHT
 
MARCH 11TH | 6:30-7:45 PM | CRPS CAFETORIUM
Tonight is Fun & Fit night for our 1st graders!  Make sure to wear sneakers and come ready to be active!  This is a FREE drop off event open to current 1st graders only.  Oreos and juice included.  Students cannot attend without a signed  PERMISSION SLIP  to participate.  For questions, please contact January at jaynico44@gmail.com.
DISTRICT-WIDE READ-A-THON
    
RUNNING MARCH 2ND - 13TH

SUPERINTENDENT/PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY 

 
SUBMISSIONS DUE MARCH 13TH 
Enter for a chance to have your child be a superintendent/principal for a day!  On this special day, one student from each school gets the opportunity to run his or her school and one student gets the opportunity to run the whole district.  This unforgettable experience includes a special luncheon with the administrators and a plaque to commemorate the day! 5TH GRADE GET AIR TRIP
 
EVENT CANCELLED
As a precautionary measure, the Executive Board has decided to cancel the 5th grade Get Air trip.  All money will be refunded to parents.  We apologize for this inconvenience and wish everyone a safe and healthy weekend. MARCH 20TH | 7-9 PM | DAVE & BUSTER'S
Join your friends for an evening of fun and games! Cost is $16.00/student for PTO members and $26/student for non-members.  Food, drinks, and a game card are included. 6TH GRADE IPLAY TRIP
 
MARCH 27TH | 5:30-7:30 PM | IPLAY AMERICA
Join your friends for an afternoon of fun and games! Cost is $20/student for PTO members and $30/student for non-members.  Price covers rides, 4D theater, go-karts, unlimited non-redemption games, one game of laser tag, and a $5 redemption game card. 8TH GRADE PHOTO MONTAGE 

 
SUBMISSIONS DUE APRIL 6TH 
Calling all 8th grade parents, please submit photos for the 8th Grade Photo Montage!  Please send in at least two  school-related photos of your child, including their name and school event/year the photo was taken. 8TH GRADE MEMORY BOOK      
   
SUBMISSIONS DUE MAY 8TH 
June will be here before we know it! The 8th grade memory book is a collection of memory pages and graduation well-wishes, submitted by parents, family, and friends, compiled into a book given out at the 8th Grade Graduation. Don't miss this opportunity to give a shout-out to your graduates, congratulate them on their years at Cedar, and wish them well in high school. Students can also send farewells and well-wish messages to their classmates and/or teachers. All submissions due by May 8th. See flyer for details. SUPER 50/50
     

 
BIG THANKS  to Stephanie Collura for organizing this fundraiser.  The winners of the CNPTO's Super 50/50 were drawn at last night's general PTO meeting. 
With your help, the PTO sold 63 tickets for a total pool of $3150!  50% of the total pool was distributed to 6 lucky winners!  All winners who were not present at the drawing will be contacted.  We would like to thank everyone who participated in this event and for supporting our schools!
CRPS BOOK SWAP 

 
BIG THANK YOU  to Kim Kaufman for chairing this fun  event for our Primary students!   THANKS to the many volunteers who helped sort books throughout February and also those who helped students with book selections on the day of the swap: Nikki Adler, Victoria Cantalupo, Lucy Gao, Nicole Graves, Crystal Kaplan, Marci Klein, Tonya Luder, Nancy Morin, Eilyn Mariela Muscio, Lena Nicholson, Kathryn O'Donnell, Vanessa Rahman, Vanessa Siroti, and Jennifer Winkelmann.  THANK YOU ALSO to the many people who donated books -  the kids were each able to take home 2-3 books! 
KINDERGARTEN PJ STORYTIME

At the close of the 2019-2020 school year, three members of the executive board team will be completing their term on the board.  We are currently looking for PTO members who are interested in joining our team for the next school year. We are seeking volunteers interested in the positions of Secretary, Communications Director, Assistant Treasurer, and Student Activities. APRIL 7TH | CRES CAFETERIA 
Mrs. Rao is seeking CRES parents to help with this year's elementary school art show on April 7th. Volunteers are needed to mat artwork, to organize and supervise a refreshments table, and to set up an activity table for students. If you are able to assist with any of these projects, please email Mrs. Rao at rao@coltsneckschools.org.

The 32nd Annual Board Recognition Dinner is scheduled at the Colts Neck Inn on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 5:30-9:30 pm. The form to nominate an individual for recognition of his/her contribution to our school district is now available. All nomination forms must be returned to the Superintendent's Office no later than Friday, March 27, 2020 at 4:00 pm. View FORM.
