Please Read Carefully
In accordance with the press conference held today by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, please note that: 

  • CLASSES: WAU will cancel classes Monday & Tuesday (March 16th & March 17th), 2020 to provide time for all faculty to prepare for on-line instruction through our WAU D2L student learning platform;

  • LEARNING: Effective Wednesday (March 18th, 2020) - All classes will be taught through the D2L student learning platform through Friday, April 3rd, 2020 - after which the need to continue exclusive use of distance learning for the duration of the semester will be determined. 

  • EVENTS: Until further notice, approved events as planned for 250 or more people will be canceled (i.e., Convocation, Alumni Weekend, Service Day)

  • ATHLETICS: WAU Athletic events are canceled (i.e., Softball, Acro Airs)

  • WAU OPEN CAMPUS: Residence Halls. Dining Hall and Campus remain open with standard work and service schedules;

  • MUSIC TOUR: WAU New York Concert Tour is canceled.

  • HEALTH CARE CLINICALS:  Nursing & Medical Imaging clinicals and instructions for skill mastery will continue per hospital approval and program protocol.

Please continue to check your WAU email and/or our WAU website for updates as we join together to ensure not only a strong end to our Spring 2020 Semester but prayerfully invite healing in our land (Isaiah 53:3).
