Conference on Water Law and Governance
This bilingual and interdisciplinary event is organized by the Public Law Centre, the Centre on Governance, and the Centre for Environmental Law and Global Sustainability at the University of Ottawa, with the support from the Alex Trebek Forum for Dialogue.

This conference will examine the challenges and opportunities around the establishment of the Canadian Water Agency, in particular from the perspectives of social sciences. Four themes will be explored: Legal considerations for Canadian water governance, Mechanisms for Canadian water governance, International experiences in water governance, and Sectoral approaches in water resource protection.

Fiscal Federalism in Canada: Analysis, Evaluation and Prescription
This virtual conference is organized with the support of the University of Ottawa's Alex Trebek Forum for Dialogue. The lead organizer is the Centre on Governance at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Social Sciences, in collaboration with the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada and the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary.

With generous support from the Secrétariat du Québec aux relations canadiennes and the Forum of Federations.
This conference will feature some of the most prominent Canadian scholars and experts on a wide range of topics related to fiscal federalism.
