The primary mission of the Lakeway Police Department is to keep the community safe. Last month, officers responded to 15 collisions, opened 26 investigations, arrested 23 individuals and handed out 325 citations. About half of those citations included speeding. The police department has a highly motivated, engaged and technically equipped workforce working to make sure safety remains a top priority for our community.
