Quilting Is A Weighty Subject!
Greetings!
It's just the way it is supposed to be. You and your longarmer talking about your quilt - like you're talking over the backyard fence with your friend and neighbor! Mentioning how long ago you started it, and just had the encouragement to finish it. Don't forget to mention the shops that you had to visit to get all of the fabric.

That's the way we'd like it to be - perfect conversation.

However, it isn't a perfect conversation. All of the information is from the piecer's point-of-view and not from the longarmer's.

The actual conversation with your longarmer began when you purchased the fabric for your quilt. Additionally, the techniques that you chose to use during the construction of your quilt top will impact the longarmer's results far more than a mere conversation. And, after all, you want the best results for your work-of-art.
Hi, We're Ruth & Rick Grihalva. We own and operate Forever In Stitches longarming studio. We are sharing our 20 years of experience in longarming and 30 years of quilting knowledge with you!

We have taken our observations on the communications between piecers and longarmers [more than just ourselves]. During those years we have operated our machines, we have had employees operate the machines, we have had customers operate our machines as DIY services, and we have talked to longarmers from a myriad of other companies.

These observations formed the basis for 30 newsletters. We then combined them into a handy e-book in PDF format called "How To Get The Most Out Of Your Longarming Dollar: A Guide For Piecers Using Longarm Services & Their Longarmers."

The booklet is available for download and perusal on our web-site at www.ForeverInStitches.com under the Longarming Services tab. There you will see a mach-up of the first 9 pages, including the Table Of Contents. You will also find the ability to order the e-book with delivery via email.

Follow its ideas, and you will experience great quilting results!
