It seems that Spring might finally have arrived. The signs are all around. Grass is growing and needs to be mowed. More and more bugs are out buzzing, and dandelions are starting to burst out of the ground. To most people dandelions are weeds. They are botanical pests that are very hard to get rid of, but to most young children they are beautiful flowers that make wonderful bouquets. This reminds me of a profound piece of wisdom I learned long ago: Weeds are just plants that we have not found a use for yet.

May Mission of the Month -
Native American Awareness
In the month of May, your gifts will be used to support Native American Awareness. 50% of the monies are retained by the Annual Conference to develop and strengthen Native American ministries. The remaining 50% is used by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministries for scholarships to Native Americans attending United Methodist schools of theology.

LITTLE LIGHTS PRESCHOOL
We have been practicing for our Preschool Graduation Program. It will be in the church at 11:00 on Sunday, May 23rd. Because of COVID-19 restrictions we will need to limit each family to 7 people which includes the preschooler.
The preschoolers will be presenting songs, fingerplays, etc., that they have been learning throughout the school year. I am so happy that we were able to remain in-person for all of this school year.
We will be presenting diplomas to the following students: Ashton Albers, Tanner Allen, Branson Allen, Charlie Chesak, Landon Hilton, Fiona Howard, Klayton Knapp, Josie Koomler, Aurora Pryor, and Hadley Windbigler.
Congratulations to all of our Little Lights!
