Library Pickup Lockers Offer 24/7 Contactless Service
Library patrons who are unable to get to the library during regular business hours can now choose to have their reserved materials placed in a library pickup locker for convenient self-service pickup. Lockers are located at the Rockport-Main Library at the Third Street entrance. Call 812-649-4866 for more information.

Summer Reading 2022
Get ready to dive into summer! To kick off summer reading we will be hosting another Food Truck Friday on June 3rd from 11 am until 2 pm on 3rd and Main Street in Rockport. We are planning to have more trucks available to handle the crowd. Grab some friends and get some lunch. We hope to see you there!

We had an amazing amount of artwork turned in for our SCPL Express Yourself Art Contest. It was very hard to choose a winner for each category. Thanks to help from our patrons who visit the LIbrary and our Facebook followers we were able to choose our winners in each age category.
Winners will be contacted in regards to their $25 prize. The artwork will travel among the SCPL branches so that everyone gets to see the winning entries in person. Thank you to all who submitted an entry!

Each month SCPL will feature a new puzzle challenge. For this month's challenge, download or pick up a puzzle sheet at any branch and solve as many of the puzzles as you can. Return your sheet by email or drop it off at any SCPL location. Each person who solves the puzzle correctly will be entered into a drawing for a $10 local gift card.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten |
|
Do you have a baby, toddler or preschooler? If so, join SCPL's 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program to help your child be ready for kindergarten. This program promotes reading to newborns, infants, and toddlers and encourages parent and child bonding through reading. The goal of the program is to establish strong early literacy skills that will allow children to gain the confidence to become strong readers. Discussing Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield
On a dark midwinter’s night in an ancient inn on the river Thames, an extraordinary event takes place.
