Sam Shoemaker with a service lifting up the themes of recovery, addiction, and the freedom from those things that may keep us in bondage, regardless of our orientation, offered through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
St. David’s jointly offers this worship service with St. Julian of Norwich Episcopal Church in Round Rock.

This offering consists of 3 sessions devoted to building the trust among participants that is important for sustaining discussions on difficult topics, conducted in a safe, loving Christian environment.

LAUNDRY LOVE
Next meeting: Jan. 28, 5:30 p.m.
We gather outside of the SpinZone on S. Congress to give out supplies that make it possible for people to do their laundry at any time and at any SpinZone. Snack bags and bottles of water are also available. Volunteers are needed to hand out the supplies, food, and water. All pandemic safety measures are in place for this event. Masks and social distancing are required.
In February, Laundry Love will start our annual donation drive for laundry detergent.

ST. AGNES GUILD
Next meeting: Jan. 30, 10 a.m.
A group of knitters and crocheters of all ages. The guild meets online the last Saturday of each month to make prayer shawls, preemie hats, scarves, hats and mittens for the homeless, and other articles as needed. No skill necessary—members are happy to teach you. Email Barbara Haefeli at stagnes@stdave.org if you are interested in joining.

Covid-19 Tribute Bell Ringing
On Tuesday, Jan. 19, St. David’s participated in a national event honoring those who have died of Covid-19. Starting at 4:30 p.m., Fr. Bob Gribble rang the church bell and Gretchen Gribble read aloud the names of our friends and loved ones who have died of this devastating disease.
