Health Updates & Resources

Be Prepared!
We are in the final weeks of school and planning for next year is in full swing! Check out Tolt School Nurse website to see everything you need to do to prepare for next school year! This includes well child checks, sports physicals, immunizations, and more. If your student requires medications and/or a health plan at school, you will receive a health packet of paperwork over the summer to return to Nurse Rachel before the first day of school. Students with life-threatening conditions (severe allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizures, and some cardiac conditions) are mandated by Washington State Law to have medication and/or treatment orders, and an Emergency Care Plan in place, prior to the first day of school.

It is imperative to keep your student home when sick until symptoms are significantly improved or fully resolved, obtain a COVID test (including following up with a PCR test), and encourage wearing masks. Wearing masks has shown to be very effective in reducing COVID spread, as well as reducing cold/flu and stomach viruses. Free rapid antigen COVID testing for all students and staff - RSD District Office, 15510 1st Ave NE, Duvall. Walk-ins welcome Monday thru Friday: 7-8am and 2:30-3:30pm. District office is a medical facility in the testing area; if you arrive without a mask, you will be turned away and declined testing services. Please wear a mask when you arrive for testing!

For PCR testing locations: Lake Sammamish State Park COVID testing site, Snoqualmie Valley Hospital in North Bend, or Bellevue College for the fastest PCR results.

Let Attendance and/or Nurse Rachel know when your student is home sick and communicate any COVID test results (especially if positive!). Click to view the COVID-19 Symptom and Exposure Flowchart.
