Pause, breathe deeply and reflect ...

God be gracious to us and bless us
  and make his face to shine upon us,

That your way may be known upon earth,
  your saving power among all nations.

Let the peoples praise you, O God;
  let all the peoples praise you.

O let the nations rejoice and be glad,
  for you will judge the peoples righteously
     and govern the nations upon earth.

Let the peoples praise you, O God;
  let all the peoples praise you.

Then shall the earth bring forth her increase,
  and God, our own God, will bless us.

God will bless us,
  and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

In the face of Jesus Christ
your light and glory have blazed forth,
O God of all the nations;
with all your people,
may we make known your grace
and walk in the ways of peace;
for your name’s sake.

Psalm 67

Pastor Mark will be standing outside our church that morning from 7:45 to 8:45AM, to offer ashes for those who work or travel through downtown. Enter the parking lot from Park Avenue, pull up by the double doors for your ashes and a prayer from Pastor Mark and exit onto College Avenue. It's that easy! And, while it lasts, we will supply you with a hot cup of coffee to go.
  • The Music & Art Committee will be hosting a "Young Artist" Exhibit in the Chapel Gallery the months of March & April, 2020. If you are a young creative person up to high school age, we would love to share your pottery, jewelry, painting, photography, pencil drawings or artwork in any other medium! We will need your work dropped off in the gallery on Sun., Feb. 16th. Contact Kathi Wilson, Gallery Curator: director@racineartscouncil.org
  • Beginning Thursday, February 27, 2020, at 6:00PM, there will be a weekly Taizé service. What is Taizé worship? It is unlike our Sunday worship service here at First Presbyterian. Taizé music emphasizes simple phrases, usually lines from Psalms or other pieces of scripture, repeated and sometimes sung in canon. But Taizé worship is more than music. Scripture, prayer, and silence come together in the Taizé experience to create a simple, deep encounter with God. For more information about Taizé worship, you can visit the international website for the Taizé community: https://www.taize.fr/en. Better yet, come experience it for yourself firsthand!
