Updates on our Local Mission Partners

Our congregation has developed lasting partnerships with a number of local agencies helping to feed people who are hungry, house people experiencing homelessness, and provide assistance in times of crisis. Read about how each of these agencies continues to fulfill its mission during this unprecedented time and what we can do to help.

Families without housing are currently staying at motels in Ledgewood and Parsippany. Family Promise volunteers are donating meals – see “Ways You Can Help” for more information. Foundation for Peace recognizes that for many in Haiti, protection against Covid-19 is the only option. With funds donated for materials and fabric, sewing teachers and sewing students at Men Nan Men Professional School are working hard, and practicing social distancing, to make masks for those in the surrounding area of Ganthier Province.

Ways You Can Help

  1. Make a donation to help purchase materials and fabric. A gift of $10 can provide masks to a family of 5. $50 can provide protection for 25 people or 5 families and $100 can provide masks for 50 people/10 families!
