During the coming weeks, they will visit each 4th grade class during their CATS to provide guidance on helping students select a potential instrument that fits them best. From 6:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021, current 4th grade families will be invited to join the Band Directors live online for the CCSD93 Band Family Information Stream, which will be found linked here! Parents will be invited to ask questions in the stream’s chat.

Families will then be asked to officially commit to joining band by Friday, May 21, 2021 by filling out the form linked here.

Fourth grade families will be sent reminders in the coming weeks, but if you have questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact Mrs. Cathrine Savino at savinoc@csd93.com or 630-588-5251. For even more, visit CCSD93’s Band website!
Quarantine vs. Isolation: A Guide
As previously shared, reducing student distance to accommodate more in-person learners means that when a COVID-19 case become present, not only does the individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 need to isolate, but additional individuals who have been within a close proximity to that individual for more than 15 cumulative minutes must also quarantine. As cases arise, our school offices continue to contact impacted families to help clarify next steps. I invite you to review the following to understand the difference between the two and how students are impacted.
Please Continue to Practice Safety
As students continue to test positive for COVID-19, resulting in the implementation of the isolation and quarantines described above, please continue to stay vigilant in practicing the three W's of wearing a mask, watching your distance, and washing your hands frequently to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and contributing to conditions conducive to in-person learning.
Please review the following for more updates from CCSD93!

Sincerely,

Dr. David H. Hill
