 Dear Families:

Last week I told you about the work of our student leadership teams in creating Rules and Beliefs for our school community. I am so proud of the work that was done to create this acronym.

It is so powerful to hear what students want and need their school community to look like.

As we reset ourselves in looking at how we can respect each other and create a safe and positive learning community we will be reviewing the following with all students during their Advisory Classes next week.

  • Lunchroom expectations
  • Hallway expectations
  • School wide safety and respect

Continue to let us know if we can do anything further to assist your student in reaching their full potential and brilliance.

Sincerely,

Jason Boll
Interim Principal

Middle School Band Night
On Thursday 9/23, the SLP Band Program held a "Beginning Band Information Night" in the MS cafeteria. This event was hosted by Roy Pienaar (MS Band) and Emilie Bertram (Elementary Band), and it was an opportunity for families interested in Beginning Band to learn about the expectations of being in band, learn about the instrument rental options, along with being able to register and sign up for an instrument through Eckroth Music or SLP.

We had a wonderful turnout and it was fantastic to see so many students and families interested in band!
