Buckle Up & Drive Sober this Holiday Season!

Our safety elves remind you to buckle up and drive sober this holiday season! Now, through January 1, 2021, VPD will have extra officers on patrol looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. They'll also be actively looking for other unsafe driving practices – speeding, not wearing a seat belt, driving distracted, not yielding to bicyclists or pedestrians – to make sure everyone has a safe holiday.

Santa to a Senior

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated a gift to the Ventura Avenue Adult Center's Santa to a Senior program. This year over 230 homebound seniors received gifts. The gifts are being delivered this week during our weekly meal distribution.

We appreciate your support in helping us bring holiday magic to the seniors participating in our meal program. We couldn't have done it without your generosity - thank you!
