Admissions Information Sessions & Campus Tours

RVCC is offering Admissions Information Sessions & Campus Tours in October and November. Upcoming sessions also focus on the Honors College, as well as our Beauty and Automotive programs. Registration is suggested for all Admissions events.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Raritan Valley Community College is working together as a community to keep our campus healthy and safe. Therefore, all RVCC students, faculty, and staff must show documentation of being vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 1. 

Documentation may be uploaded via Medicat on or about October 15.

Open Educational Resources

RVCC is helping students reduce their college costs by providing free instructional materials in a growing number of classes. Since 2018, the use of free Open Educational Resources has saved RVCC students $1,776,362.32 in textbook costs.
Transfer Agreement

RVCC and Ramapo College of New Jersey have entered into a new agreement that will facilitate the transfer process for RVCC graduates interested in attending the Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College.

Virtual Transfer Fairs

Take advantage of RVCC’s high quality, affordable programs for your first two years of college and then transfer to a four-year school. Director of Athletics

Joe Pavlow has been hired as the new Director of Athletics at RVCC. Pavlow comes to the College with a wealth of experience as a coach and administrator.
Piano Day

The Music Program in the College’s Arts & Design department will present “Piano Day at RVCC” on November 13. The daylong event will offer high school student pianists the opportunity to perform and to learn from world-renowned teachers and musicians representing the top music schools in the New York metropolitan area.

Registration deadline is November 5.
Online Educators Workshop

RVCC’s Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies will present a free Online Educators Workshop, “Teaching Difficult Subjects Creatively Through Art,” November 4, 4-5:30 p.m.

Educators will learn how to teach high school students about the Holocaust, using imagery and text to evoke a personal response. Teachers will each create artwork and participate in a discussion about its meaning. A list of materials and information about downloading the book will be provided after participants register for the program.
