Items for Prayer This Week:
The group will seek to put God’s will for Christ Covenant into practice by leading the congregation to carry out the vision of disciples making disciples. Please join us in praying for this Project Group:
• For wisdom for the group as they seek to discern God’s will through the various projects,
• For joyful hearts for the group in their work,
• For the outcome to glorify God.
LaQuanda Ruffin
LaQuanda works for Campus Outreach Johannesburg in Lusaka, Zambia. She shares the gospel with women on the college campus and equips those who place their faith in Christ to be spiritual leaders on campus and for life. Pray for LaQuanda’s time at home in the next few months in leadership training. Pray that her heart would be set on the Father and that all she does would be an overflow.
Persecuted Church around the World: North Korea
Pray for believers in North Korea, once again ranked as the single most dangerous place in the world for Christians. Pray for the hundreds of thousands imprisoned as slave labor, for the Christian women who have been sold off as slaves in China, and for the families of believers who were killed when discovered with Bibles or meeting secretly for worship. Pray, too, for the salvation of the country’s leaders, including Kim Jong Un.
Unreached People Group: Cyrenaican in Libya
Cyrenaica is the eastern coastal region of Libya with a population of 1,694,000 where only 0.10% are Christians. The largest religion in this area is Islam. Pray for the gospel to be proclaimed among the Cyrenaican Arabs and for believers to pray for the people in Cyrenaica.
