CALLING ALL ELMHURST RESIDENTS!
We ask you to embrace the fact that today, loving our community looks like #ElmhurstStaysHome . We've all been cooped up at home because we know that this is what is safest for ourselves, our loved ones and our community. Our commitment to this will protect the residents of Elmhurst and save lives.

The City of Elmhurst, Elmhurst Park District, Elmhurst School District 205, Elmhurst Public Library, and Elmhurst College are challenging you to lift up our community's spirits while we all adjust to this new normal.

We're calling all residents to get creative! Send us your pictures and videos on how you and your families are staying positive and having fun through the State's "Stay at Home Order". We will collect this content through the month of April, and feature it on our website and social pages. Some of the submissions may also make a debut in the next City of Elmhurst Front Porch Newsletter.

Thank you for your commitment to loving our community.

Small Business Guide to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act)
President Trump signed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) the afternoon of March 27, 2020. The CARES Act’s estimated $2+ trillion funding includes: extraordinary public health spending to confront the COVID-19 pandemic; immediate cash relief for individual citizens; a broad lending program for small business; and, targeted relief for hard-hit industries. When implemented, there will be many new resources available for small businesses, as well as certain non-profits and other employers.
To help small business owners and entrepreneurs better understand the new programs that will soon be available to them, a comprehensive guide was created addressing many of the small business provisions in the CARES Act.
