importance of driving safely on neighborhood streets.
They are  18" x 24" signs,  red on one side and yellow on the other.
Let me know if you'd like one for your yard.

The more people who take the census in your community, the more federal money your community stands to receive. About 250,000 people move to Arizona from other states every year. We can all help ensure Arizona gets the funding it deserves when everyone participates.

From Your Councilmember
Several residents have contacted my office lately regarding being disturbed by fireworks, and I have notice similar complaints of Facebook and NextDoor.com as well.  I have opened up a Council Item of Special Interest on this subject in order to gather data on this problem, and to develop a brief on the legal options available to the city.  As you may know, fireworks used to be illegal in Arizona, but a few years ago the State Legislature legalized many different types of fireworks at certain times of the year.  It seems most complaints relate to types of fireworks that remain illegal, but are still finding their way into our neighborhoods.  Remember, if it makes a loud noise, or flies into the air, it is most likely not a legal firework.  Feel free to call the Glendale PD non-emergency number (623-930-3000) when you are disturbed by the use of what  you suspect are illegal fireworks.

Sahuaro Ranch Park is a jewel of the Barrel District and of the city as a whole.  Recently city staff provided our Parks and Recreation Commission an update on maintenance and repairs projects currently underway at Sahuaro Ranch Park.  You can read the staff report HERE
