December 22, 2020
This Christmas season, as we enter into the holiday that celebrates Jesus' birth, we reflect on birth as a process of spiritual unfoldment. Just as the conception and birth of Jesus was an expression of the divine, our spiritual exploration and experience is a manifestation of Spirit at work in our lives and in the world. Over the years, all of us at the Christine Center have been blessed to share in this path with you. Your spiritual lives and journeys are as much a part of the spirit here as are the trees and plants throughout this sacred land.

Know that we are profoundly honored to be connected
with you and that we hold you close to our hearts.

Spiritual Guidance: A Committed Listener… A Guide for your Journey

As many of you know from experience, spiritual guidance has long been part of the offerings here at the Christine Center. This continues to be a meaningful connection for those engaging together in spiritual deepening and exploration.

Traveling life on a spiritual path can be confusing, clarifying, daunting, inviting, and at times lonely. Engaging in spiritual guidance can offer support and companionship, as we seek to deepen our connection with the divine, or achieve clarity concerning a specific life circumstance or experience.

Welcoming everyone--people of all faiths and no faith, and of all spiritual paths--we offer several options for meeting with a spiritual companion. From individual sessions to guided or companioned retreats, there are many pathways available for you.

We are also pleased to announce that, in addition to our Sisters who many of you know, we now have two new members who have joined our guidance team. We warmly welcome Patty Roberts and Tom Roberts!
Preserve Our Heritage
40th Anniversary Campaign Status

Great news! The first benchmark of our 40th Anniversary Preserve our Heritage campaign and the $25,000 Greer challenge has been met.

We are $15,000 away from our $100,000 goal. An anonymous donor has agreed to contribute an additional $10,000 toward our campaign, if we meet our $100,000 goal by January 15, 2021.

We express our gratitude to our donors who have generously contributed and encourage all friends of the Christine Center to consider making a gift during this season of giving.

Thank you for your generous spirit!

Finding physical and emotional balance in life can sometimes be a challenge. This retreat will focus on finding balance, both physical and emotional, using yoga, breath practices, meditation and physical exercises, so that a sense of contentment and well-being can be more fully realized.

This retreat is open to those who have never practiced yoga as well as experienced yoga practitioners. Consistent with the Viniyoga lineage, postures (poses) will be adapted to fit the needs of each participant. Breath techniques will be practiced to experience their role in creating balance in body and mind. Seated meditation, either in a chair or on a cushion, will follow certain yoga practices. Strength and balance exercises will be more fully enjoyed with the use of a chair or other props.
