As we look back at 2019 and forward to 2020, I
want to thank everyone in our community who filled the month of December with a concern for their neighbors, an appreciation of family, and a joyful spirit of giving. More individuals and businesses than ever reached out through our Adopt a Family and Community Toy Table programs--donating gifts and necessities and volunteering their time. The enthusiasm was big and bright, contagious to Children's Cabinet staff members and to every parent and child participating in Cabinet programs and services.
At our Rock Boulevard headquarters, there was a steady stream of carts, overflowing with gifts, being pushed by people with smiling faces. Gifts for 780 local families, and a total of 2,099 children in all. Because of this record show of support, we were able to increase our holiday giving and reach
450 more children this year!
Thank you, everyone, for making this level of community support and celebration possible.
P.S. Sign-ups for holiday giving 2020 will begin in late-September . . . If you or your business want to help before then, please consider organizing a donation drive for us.
