Solar Cooking for the Hot Days
Remember the phrase, "it's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk"? I have long been interested in solar cooking; the sun's heat when concentrated can do that, and so can solar stoves. Ever since visiting India and meeting Ila Bhatt of SEWA, I have been inspired by the vision of solar cooking helping millions to sustainably feed themselves and their families.
For us in the U.S., solar cookers are a fun way of cooking outdoors. But, rather than feeding masses, you can use it as a "slow cooker" for yourself, friends and family without polluting the atmosphere, ready when you are. The possibilities are limitless!
