This Monday, we officially welcomed Crab King Cajun Boil and Bar to Lakeview East! Since their soft opening in March they have been working hard to get their space ready to welcome in neighbors! We will be celebrating their recent opening on May 16th at 6:30PM with a 3 Course Pris Fixe Meal + Wine!
Join us for a delicious, filling taste of our newest restaurant on Broadway. Crab King Cajun Boil & Bar is a new seafood restaurant that is quickly becoming a local favorite and for good reason!
After a soft opening 2 months ago, they've now outfitted their bar to serve wine & liquor. Enjoy wine, fresh Snow Crab, Shrimp, and more on this night of Cajun tastiness!

Register Your Camera with The City Of Chicago
|
The City of Chicago has launched a free and voluntary camera registration program open to anyone who lives or operates a business in Chicago. If you have a private security camera that captures the public way and you are interested in assisting in an investigation in the event of a crime in your neighborhood, you can register your camera with the Chicago Police Department.
By registering your camera, you are simply allowing the Chicago Police Department to contact you in the event of a crime in your area. The Chicago Police Department will not have direct access to your camera system and cannot access camera footage without your consent. There is no requirement to provide footage at any time.

Sign Up to be a Community Researcher this Summer
Would you like to spend some time along the lakefront this summer while also helping the North DuSable Lake Shore Drive (NDLSD) project team better understand how people use the lakefront today?Volunteer to be a community researcher for the Public Life Study on June 16 or June 18, 2022! As part of the Public Life Study, you will be observing human behavior along the lakefront.
Community researcher positions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all shift openings are filled, the Public Life Study signup will close. Confirmations will be sent to volunteers regarding dates, times, and locations for observations, and waitlisted volunteers will also be notified.
