mercyWorks of Mercy Opportunities

Dear Families and candidates,

I trust you had a happy, if unusual Easter!

It was only a month ago that our lives were upended.  A lot of things were put on hold, and we don't know when degrees of 'normal' might be restored.

I have been heartened to see Works of Mercy journal entries still coming in.

As we move through this time, I would strongly encourage your candidate to do a few things:
  • Pray the Prayer to the Holy Spirit each day.

  • This is no time to stop thinking of Works of Mercy. You don't have the usual opportunities for doing things outside your home / neighborhood, but that doesn't mean that you have no chances to act mercifully.

Remember that the Works of Mercy continue until you meet the Lord and give an accounting of your life. While our lives are a bit limited, we still have the opportunity to reach out in service to each other.

You can find ideas on these lists for things to do in your everyday life.
