Front Office Reminders:
Parents, please make sure you are sending your child with following items every day:
 
Masks
Students should be wearing a mask as they get on the bus or enter the school every day. An extra mask should also be packed in their backpack.
Refillable water bottle
Please make sure you send a refillable water bottle with your child’s name on it every day to school.

Extra change of clothes
Even our older students need a change of clothes from time to time. Spills happen! If your child has to borrow clothes from the nurse, please wash them and return them so we can keep them on hand for other students.
FUN RUN DETAILS
As of Monday morning, we have raised $18,000 of our $24,000 goal.
Below are some interesting details regarding the fundraiser so far.

  • We have 63% of our students registered!!
  • Seems to be almost an equal number of grandparents sponsoring as parents!
  • And we have MANY states throughout the US supporting our school!!
FUN RUN EVENT DETAILS
WHO: Families are welcome to come join us in cheering on our runners!! 
WHEN: Here is the schedule:
Thursday, October 7
  • Grade 3- 9:40-10:30
  • Grade 2- 10:35-11:25
  • Grade 5- 11:30-12:20
  • Grade 1- 12:25-1:15
  • Kindergarten – 2:15-3:05
  • Grade 4- 1:20-2:10
WHERE: Staley Soccer Field. 
  • Park in the back of the school and/or at the soccer parking lot. 
  • NO NEED to check in at the BP school office. 
Staley Under the Stars!!!
The PTA’s of Staley Nation are working in collaboration to present the First Annual Staley under the Stars movie night. The movie will be shown on the Staley High School football field scoreboard. This collaborative event will benefit Harvesters!

Show time is Saturday, October 9th @ 6:30 pm and admission is 1 canned good per person!

Food trucks will be set up and ready to serve by 5:30. There will be a souvenir cup customized for the event.

Don’t miss this opportunity for a family fun night for ALL AGES!
News from the Music Room
Attention 5th Grade families, the 5th grade concert is going virtual! 5th grade students will be creating and recording their performances in music class. The final project will be shared with the Bell Prairie community on Nov. 1. This virtual performance will be in place of the 5th grade concert scheduled for Tuesday, October 12.
 
The second session of BP BEAT will begin on Tuesday, October 12. This session of the BP BEAT drum ensemble is open to 4th and 5th grade students. We will meet before school each Tuesday from 8:00 – 8:30 am in the music room. The dates for this session are October 12, 19, 26, November 2 and 9. Students can register by completing the enrollment form. There is space for 25 drummers.
 
Look for the second session of Ukulele Strum Club open to 4th and 5th graders, which will begin on Friday, October 22. The enrollment link will be shared in the coming weeks.
BP Helping Hands Supplies Needed:
Nurse Casey is in need of size small (6-7) boys and girls elastic waistband shorts and pants! Donations can be new or gently used. We are also in need of tooth necklaces or treasure chests for students who lose a tooth at school! Your donations are greatly appreciated!
