WELCOME NIKKI!
Hello, my name is Nikki Crouse, and I am honored to serve in the role of Senior Services Manager for the City and County of Broomfield!
I grew up on a farm in North Dakota, and received my Bachelor's Degree from North Dakota State University in Human Development and Family Services with a minor in Gerontology. I have had the opportunity to work with seniors and families in a variety of capacities throughout my career - including life enrichment, community engagement, event planning, programming, referral support, and acting as a liaison between government agencies and local businesses. My work has spanned from the senior living world to recreation to research and development. This role is exciting to me because I feel that it connects the dots between the work I have done, and it allows for expansion as the City and County of Broomfield continues to work to serve its changing and growing population well.
This year was a big year for our family: I turned 50, celebrated 25 years of marriage with my husband, Brian (accountant and high school sprint coach), and became an "empty nester" as our kids moved out to begin "adulting" by purchasing a condo and working full-time. Our daughter, Ashley is an elementary school teacher (currently teaching first and second graders virtually at Kyffin Elementary) and our son Brady works at Border States Electric operating heavy machinery and managing warehouse stock. In my spare time I love to hike, sing, write, and try new recipes.
Please feel free to stop in and introduce yourself! I am looking forward to meeting you, and serving the City and County of Broomfield in this capacity!
