MOVE-IN INFO
Wear Safety Gear & Garbage Removal
Safety Awareness:

Floor managers will be on the show floor to ensure a safe and timely move-in. Please keep safety top of mind while moving in boats, working around cranes, and setting up temporary platforms. The safety engineer will be around during move-in to inspect temporary platforms and structures.

Garbage Removal:

During move-in, we also encourage exhibitors to remove their own shrinkwrap, skids, and leftover wood from the Enercare Centre. As the show is charged for garbage removal from the floor, these efforts help keep space costs down. For garbage remaining on the show floor, there will be many large bins placed around the halls. Please use them; it helps keep labour costs down, and the floor safe and clean.

If you have move-in related questions, please contact move-in coordinator Shawn McConnell at 416-574-9826.

  • Greywater is defined as normal household waste water from minor food waste, hand washing, and mild detergents used for cleaning of household utensils/items etc.
  • Industrial/commercial detergents used should be pre-approved, and a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) on hand should an inspection occur.
  • Heavy detergents may require a permit from the City of Toronto Water/Waste Department for disposal.
  • Under no circumstance should greywater be disposed of in any catch basin on Exhibition Place Property, in or outside any building onsite. This will result in an automatic call to a waste disposal company to clean/flush the catch basin, and notice to City of Toronto Water and Environmental Departments, with fines and cleanup costs paid by the disposing party.

2019 Buy A Boat And Win Promotion
The  Buy/Sell A Boat & WIN program returns to the 2020 show, as an important tool to help close the sale.

An added incentive for the consumer to buy at the show, this program offers the boat-buyer the chance to enter to WIN $10,000 toward the cost of the boat they purchased at the show - however, large or small!

Ballots are completed at point of purchase. Ballots will be picked up by show staff daily to make it easier for exhibitors, or they can be dropped off a the Show Office (Salon 103). Each day, a draw awards  $100 to a dealer who sold a boat that day.

The program also gathers boat sales statistics for business stories, providing positive exposure for the industry.
