FOSTERING HEALTHY PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIPS

Onward Hope's Parent Aide Program receives the "Green Light" from the Department of Child Safety after it's recent audit regarding services provided in 2019. Our reunification rate of 47% was highest of all the parent aide service providers statewide.

The Parent Aide Program is a reunification support program for biological parents whose children have been removed from their care by the state. It is a six-month program that helps to increase the success rate of reunification as well as decrease the possibility of recidivism.

Our experienced staff help educate parents on the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional capacities of parenting through skill-building sessions as well as provide four hours of supervised visitation between the parents and their children every week. Ms. Jacqueline Everett, Parent Aide Program Manager, would like to acknowledge her staff for a job well done, especially amidst the current COVID-19 pandemic.

A Message From Our CEO
Hello Families and Friends!

During these unprecedented times, we at Onward Hope are continuing to support the youth, young adults, and parents of our community.

The Onward Hope family has worked diligently to offer new services and supports to the at-risk populations within our care and we want you to know that you can reach out to any member of the Onward Hope staff if you are in need of any resources during this time.

We wish you and your family well. Please stay safe!

Cicely is our first HandsOn Greater Phoenix volunteer! We thank her for helping us sort and organize our donations and our space!
Roger and Judy Edmonds were excited to donate household items they no longer needed to assist youth in transition. "Santa Roger" also offered his services for any upcoming christmas events in-person or virtual!
Many thanks, Jessica Hazelrigg, for donating these beautiful baby clothes and other much-needed baby items. A donation of this size goes a long way!
