During this midyear donation cycle, I have asked a cherished friend and deeply valued member of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) Advisory Board, Colonel (U.S. Army-Retired) Larry Wilkerson, to reach out personally to ask you to consider donating to our civil rights advocacy fight.
Most of you know who Larry is, but for those who might not, Larry is an internationally renowned government, political and military subject matter expert who served as Chief of Staff to the late Secretary of State General Colin Powell after previously directly supporting Secretary Powell when he was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. Presently, among many other virtuous activities, Larry is the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Government and Public Policy at the College of William and Mary.
Larry came to MRFF as the replacement on our Advisory Board for another dear friend, former Navy SEAL Glen Doherty, who was tragically killed in the coordinated terrorist attack on two United States diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya, in September of 2012.
We are so profoundly honored and privileged to have Larry Wilkerson stand and fight shoulder-to-shoulder with us in our daily efforts to support our MRFF mission to enforce Constitutional church-state separation mandates in the American armed forces.
