We start this week by providing our members with more, primary source information that they can use to understand the public health challenges we face what’s being done and where we are headed.  Tomorrow at 1:00 pm , we welcome the CEOs of the two largest hospital systems in Delaware, Janice Nevin of ChristianaCare and Terry Murphy of Bayhealth, for a call with our members.  We kindly ask that you pre-register here .

On April 21 at 2:30 pm, Secretary of Transportation Jennifer Cohan will join us to give an update on the work DelDOT is continuing to perform , including multiple projects on Delaware Route 1, Interstate 95, and elsewhere. Secretary Cohan will also provide important information on issues businesses need to know relative to the Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles and DART transportation.  You can register for this call here .
In economic news, the week starts slowly with limited information beginning with Tuesday's release of the import price index. On Wednesday, we will see March retail sales figures, industrial production numbers, and a mid-April look at the Homebuilders’ index. Thursday brings us weekly jobless claims for the week ending April 11, housing starts and building permits for March. We will also see the Philly Fed manufacturing index for the first part of April. The week closes with leading economic indicators for the month of March.
