FEBRUARY 20:
At tonight's Board of Education meeting we enjoyed hearing about the experience these students had at the VERY FIRST elementary All-State Choir! Vivian Barnette, Abigail Bremer, Reese Tapar and Greyson Fleetwood were four of 170 students from across the state who auditioned and were chosen to participate. We are super #repmoproud  of you and thank your music teachers for giving you the opportunity!

FEBRUARY 18:
Join us in congratulating Nurse Nancy Leonard, RHS Nurse, for being chosen as the JANUARY REPMO HERO OF THE MONTH! Nurse Nancy has gone above and beyond in caring for our students at the preschool, elementary and now high school level. She is very passionate in her work and demonstrates genuine kindness as a nurse and teammate. We're so  #repmoproud to call her ours!
A compilation of nominations received in regards to Nurse Nancy from district employees is below. She will be h onored at the February Board of Education meeting, and will also receive $500 to be spent on the resources of her choice.
Republic HS is proud to nominate Nancy Leonard as this month's RepMO Hero nominee. Nancy has been the nurse at Republic High School the last two years. She is friendly and courteous to everyone she interacts with. In addition, she is proactive and advocates for health and wellness to our staff, students and families. Nurse Nancy truly impacts our school culture in such a positive way!
With confidence I can say Nurse Nancy is the kindest, most genuine human being I know! She has been described as a ray of sunshine by a fellow coworker.
Nurse Nancy never forgets a student. She remembers their names, what building she had them at (EC, Price or McCulloch) and greets them in the high school health office like no time has passed.
Her tremendous impact on staff, students and families across our district is so evident each and every day. Nurse Nancy is very passionate about school nursing and caring for kids. Her philosophy is that "all children need to be healthy to be educated, and educated to be healthy." We are glad she is on our RHS team!
Check out the video of Dr. Wistrom, "RepMO Man" surprising Nurse Nancy! #repmoproud
