Hartford Wrestling Practice Facility Campaign
The Hartford Athletic Department and Wrestling Program are excited to announce that on Monday, November 16, the HUHS School District approved plans to construct a new wrestling practice facility. This facility has been designed for year-round training and will become the new home for both the HUHS Wrestling team and the Hartford Youth Wrestling Program. We are very excited to be able to offer this exclusive space for the wrestling programs in our community.

This new facility will provide three full wrestling mats with subfloor as well as wall mats for our wrestlers’ safety. The space will also be conducive to hosting Hartford Wrestling Club dual meets. To make this practice facility a reality, we are asking the HUHS wrestling community, alumni, wrestling families, friends, and businesses to help us raise funds to cover the cost of the subfloor, mats, and training equipment.

We have already received a $10,000 mat sponsorship from the Hartford Wrestling Club! Thank you!

All gifts to the Hartford wrestling practice facility campaign are tax deductible and will be recognized in a donor display in the Hartford wrestling practice facility. Outlined below are several opportunities for you to contribute to this exciting project. Thank you in advance for your support!

  • Your face-to-face student will not be coming to school for any reason
  • Your Virtual Learning student will not be logging in to their classes

Also: Please allow ample time to excuse your student for an appointment during the day as we are experiencing a high volume of attendance communications.
